This
project was met with the following challenges:
1) Provide a proper septic system to handle
a commercial level of waste
2) Minimize
drain field space to allow for optimum parking
3) Control
odor because of proximity to Volleyball court.

After
performing the initial perc test, Geo Tech determined that a pressurized
convential septic system with with an aerobic treatment plant was
the proper strategy to optimize performance and cost. Two septic tanks
were installed, the system able to handle both low-flow periods during
the establishments slower business periods, and yet still be able
to perform perfectly during the restaurant's busy periods on weekends.
This was accomplished through timed dosing with adequate surge tank
capacity. |

Odor
is minimal or non-existent even when the tank is exposed due to aerobic
treatment. This means that Loopy's patrons can enjoy volleyball games
without ever experiencing unpleasant odors. |

|
The
drain field was set in an approximately 2000 sq ft area to the side
of the parking lot, allowing Loopy's the additional parking that was
essential to their business. Geo Tech's maintenance plan insures continual
trouble-free operations, and flags Loopy's as to any potential problems
before they can adversely effect the system or their operations.
